Do you know what RSS feeds are? No? It’s some kind of web feed. Simply put, RSS feeds enable you to follow updates for sites without even visiting them. Let’s take this site for an example:
Whenever I make a post on this blog, it get’s added to this blog’s RSS feed. People who have imported this blog’s RSS feed into their so-called feed-reader get notified whenever I make a new post. The same way they get notified when they receive new e-mail. So, you open up your feedreader, and you see which sites you are watching have received an update recently. When you notice this blog has, you can simply click on a convenient link and be transported here immediately.
It’s really convenient! Interested? Read the links I put in the beginning of this post, they contain very useful information. First of all you’ll need a feedreader. I recommend Mozilla Thunderbird, from the same people who brought Firefox to us. All you need to do is to import this link into your feedreader: http://www.lildragon.eu/blog/feed/ . It’s as simple as that!
